This beautiful Peregrina Flower ceramic tile pendant is in collaboration with Alexis Ellison Tiles. Alexis Ellison is an artisanal ceramic tile maker and painter who pulls inspiration from her colorful imagination and nature. She uses her painting experience to carefully glaze each tile and bring it to life. Many of her works can be found at Moravian Tiles. This piece is proudly made as part of a family collaboration between cousins.
The tile features a gothic style Peregrina Flower motif with layers of glaze wash to make it feel alive. The tile is set in a simple minimalist bezel setting with a brushed finish and eight centered prongs to hold it in place while allowing this incredibly detailed miniature tile take center stage. Although hard as stone, the 1"x1" tile is lightweight and easy to wear. This modern necklace hangs by jump rings that defy gravity and connect the pendant to a round cable chain. The necklace is simple enough for daily wear, yet intricate enough to show off as a statement piece.
